Thanks .. this is my first post on RFF. I'm mostly a Leica M6TTL user, though today I've brought to work my 1934 Leica III with the 75mm Voigtlander lens and finder.

I'll try posting some photos in the coming weeks.

The film offer sounds great and I'd never have found it without information on this forum

Another disappointed foreigner....but kudos to Big Yellow for some proactive film marketing.
Of course the Kodak haters will find SOMETHING to complain about.....(...what, only 4 rolls?"...)

In all honesty, though not pretaining directly to me, would Puerto Rico count as a part of the US able to be mailed to?

Puerto Rico is not on the drop down list.

I am glad to see this though. It means that Kodak are still thinking about film, not an altogether bad thing!

Kodak is great about this. I cannot remember where on their site but you can sign up to receive emails and promotional announcements (somewhere in the "pro" area of the site). Every couple-few months they email you a newsletter that has coupons for money ($5 or $10) off if you buy 10 rolls of 400UC or something like that, and a few times a year they have specials like this one. I've gotten at least a dozen or so rolls free this way---Portra, 400CN, etc. Way cool. Of course with film dead and soon to be a memory in the next 3 years (per some people at photo.net----though I did hear the same thing about 3 years ago) who knows how much longer Kodak will even make film let alone give it away! :p :D ;)

I did this just yesterday on the Swiss Kodak Website. I hope they send me some coupons! :)
If not I might just have to let them send the film to the hotel in New York where my friends sister is staying at the moment :)

I thought Ontario was the 51st. state. oh well I guess not.
Please, don't give our sitting administration any new ideas! ;)

(And, it damn well better be the new Portra)

Addendum: Yea, I sent in my request. In fact, Kodak and Fuji have been good for this sort of thing over the past five years (otherwise known by some as the Twilight Of the Emulsions). I've been trying to actually buy some of the new Portra stuff here in NYC, to litttle avail (well, I've been too busy to drop in to B&H or Adorama every damn day and run up to the Film counter and ask "Is the new Portra here yet?").

Yeah, as I said, let's hope for the new Portra. I'm interested mostly in the faster stuff, 400 and 800. In fact, I need fast stuff for something my boyfriend and I will be doing on the 27th. ;)

Thanks VictorM! ..
