HU - Fry's Electronic - in store blow out sale includes x10 for 199

I wish we had sales like this in Oz. No such luck I am afraid. Over here we get scalped by camera manufacturers which routinely charge much more for their products. And the bricks and mortar stores have the nerve to grumble that people prefer to buy on line from over seas sources. Little wonder when there is so much price discrimination. While manufacturers and distributors have been allowed to get away with it - presumably on the grounds of small market/ costs of providing servicing etc the reality is that most of this is horse pucky. When the restrictive arrangements for importation of CDs and DVDs was legislated out of existence a few years back, prices dropped by 50% or more. Its all about greed and profit combined with lack of proper competition as much as anything else.
