GAS, George, that's all it is. 😀 How about a second RF645 body instead, which is very likely to blow any Leica into the weeds, and is only abt 1" taller... Exquisite camera, but I guess you already know that huh. <big grin>
I know. The Bronica is it for me. I want a Leica, but I would have alot of trouble sharing my time between the two cameras. I think I would find myself fonding the Leica more, but then grabbing the Bronica to go shoot because I know I'm going to get better images from it, all other things constant. The Leica is nice because it is small and the mechanics are so beautiful, but it has nothing else over the Bronica. The Leica isn't a "pocketable" camera because I'd never be caught dead stuffing a Leica in my linty pockets.
This is a good deal, though, isn't it? If I had spare money, I'd buy it. I really would. Just for fondling and occasional outings when small negs lose me nothing. When I'd want to be seen with a Leica. So I can use the Noctilux when I buy it.
yeah, I know it. I asked him and he (or she) said that they didn't know, and nothing is engraved on the body. Duh. That is sort of strange, but the buyer h . . .
wait a minute.
Maybe this is a hijacked account? Usually those have different apearances.
Well the only M6 (which this is, by the S/N only on the flash shoe) different from .72 was the .85. It was the only M6 (not TTL) with the engraving on the finder.

You'd be severely disappointed once you saw the negs. The M6 is a lovely camera, but quality wise, the Bronica is in a different league - no flames please, I have both and have been spending way too much time looking at 35mm versus 645 negs. However, its a no brainer if you need hand held low light. 🙂

yeah, I know. I just got finished selling someone on the Bronica in the photo.net forums. I love my camera too much to ever sell it. I guess it's just the "Leica" thing that gets to me. Like I love the way it feels, perfect size for my hands.
RF645 is very well built too, though. Actually pretty much equal in handheld comparison - just a little bigger. And yes, without question, the images you get from the RF645 are beyond anything that any 35mm camera could offer - except the panoramic cameras with 6 cm negs.
If I bought the M6, it would be a pet, never go outside, and it would find itself posted in the "camera you never use" thread.
I honestly feel lucky to have bought the Bronica when I did - brand new from Robert White. ANd happy that I spent a price on the 100mm. It is my #1 lens now.
You know, KEH just sold out of the RF645s they had. My property values just jumped!
