HU: NIB Chrome 35/1.2

There is a chrome one available here in Bangkok at a reputable photo store for about 760usd...it is new....I bought mine at the same store about 4 months ago for a little cheaper (local discount)...but it is a pretty good deal...considering the chrome ones are probably a little difficult to find...anyways, if anybody is passing through Bangkok and is interested, send me a pm...I will give you the info....cheers, michael.......

Actually, unless I am mistaken (possibly forgot)...the limited production "silver" color ones sold at $1049.00 (US$) prior to their being sold out. I originally had a black one that was "good", sold it and then just recently purchased a brand new "silver" one at almost the same time I was offered a Leica 35mm f1.4 ASPH. Quickly tested both side-by side and they were "that close"...each having very slight advantages and disadvantages> whatever the reasons (luck or limited silver production)..this silver one is dead on, sharp as the 35mm f1.4 ASPH, tightly built, and silky smooth....different than the previous black one I owned. I'm planning to sell one of the 35's..but keep going back and forth which one! I do know, that a price of $899.00 for a "good" silver one is a bargin and I personally wouldn't sell my new one at this low a price.

I have a silver version myself. I must say -mine is spot on, and is better built than my ZM lenses. It really feels solid in your hand (and weighs a lot too). Pictures are sharp and with lots of character, especially wide open.

Here's a sample wide open:
