HU: Oly OM 50/1.2 on ebay

Nice. That's an older 55mm actually. Still a good lens. Seems like OM's enjoy something of an "honorary RF status" here. I'm down with that. I've been an OM fan for years.

While the 50/1.2 is the "more desirable", this lens is good, as Erik says. I'm pretty sure it's the "radioactive" coating, look how there's a yellow cast; that's not just lighting.

PERFECT for that "Oly glow!"

Actually, I'm a bit suspicious about that seller. Zero feedback, and he's adopted the name of a prominent retail chain here in Australia, who do sell cameras, but he's admitted to my enquiry that he has no connection with them. Looks to me like he's trying to use their reputation by association. Not quite ethical.

Chris,

I had a bid - couldn't help myself, so much glass! Auction has just been made null and void by ebay due to the account being suspended. Guess you were right.

Cheers,

John

I just saw that! I think my question scared him! I think the same lens has now been listed under another name, item # 330044950954.

ccc. What a shame.

Also the Minolta's two 1.2 normal lenses have good reputation. Espoecially the older one, the 58/1.2, i have seen some wide open shots on the PN, and I instantaneously started to look for the lens:))
