So b&h photo for Black Friday decided to do their version of lightning deals. So when the cm1 first came out, it was over 900 bucks. The cheapest I have ever seen it was just under 500 bucks from a couple of places before thanksgiving. The b&h deal at 379 must be close to their cost. Anyway since it is a lightning deal only valid for another 1 hour and 20 some odd minutes.

Well looks like Panasonic is going to announce the new model tomorrow --> cm10.

Will be interesting to c what they did to improve it outside of Android 5.0.

The new model doesn't support voice only upgraded in terms of better data support.

I just don't get it

Strange, I don't get it either, if it's no longer a phone what's the point. I remember being excited when the Samsung camera/phone came out, I've had horrible luck with cameras on phones.

Wel..looks like my cm1 is a one act show.. I doubt after the cm10..there is going to be a follow on..probably never c marshmallow on my cm1 as well. :(

The only way for this to make any sense is that most people in Japan use the data connection to make calls -- like Skype.

The phones performance is at best average when it comes to surfing the web. I was hoping to c a faster CPU/GPU and support for Marshmellow in the cm10 announcement.
