Jacob's Cameras on Cannon Street in London (on the corner by London Bridge) have a clearance sale on their secondhand film cameras - they don't have much but they do have a black M6 in their window down from £949 to £599.

I've not looked at the camera to see its condition and have no connection with the store. I guess the £949 was significantly overpriced but the £599 seems decent enough. If I didn't already have four Ms I might have been interested...

I've seen a few sold by MXV Photographic for £600 in E++ condition, so if it's in that sort of condition, that's a fair price for it. Unfortunately these things always seem to appear just when I've spent my money on something else......

Thinking about it, it might even be an M6ttl - there's a Mamiya 645 next to it labelled as a 654! The camera is on a high shelf so I can't see the top plate to see the size of the shutter speed dial.

You could check the amount of metal front above the rangefinder window. In the classic M6 it's less than 1mm; the M6ttl has like 2-3mm extra hight. An M6ttl for 600 euros would be Christmas time all over!

I went past again today and it is still there. Looking carefully, I suspect is it the 0.85ttl from the size of the shutter dial and height of the superstructure above the rangefinder window. I can't be certain as I can't see the top of the camera from the street-level.
