Walmart is sellling 2-gig Lexar SD cards for $79.95. I think I paid about $109 just a couple of months ago.

Sounds good, but you might want to check out Newegg if you're in the USA:

2 gig SD for around $45 or some for $35 with mail-in rebate. I've dealt with Newegg, they're legit.

They picked up on Amazon's bag, they have multiple distribution centers and buy in volume. Makes for great prices and swift delivery

If you watch their site, the prices shift from day to day, week to week. Some days, you can get prices that are 20% lower than other days. Or higher.

Transcend is now selling 2GD SD card for 57.4US$ for standard speed.
And 66.6US$ for 80x speed. 72.3US$ for 150x speed.

I just tested the Transcend SD card with 2GB and 4GB.
4Gb, 150x: can not use. It seems that R-D1 does not suport FAT32.
2GB, 120x/80x/and SDC: All works fine on my R-D1.
This is based on my R-D1 testing with old firmware.
I not yet upgrade to firmware2.0. So I do not know if firmware2.0 can support 4GB or not?
