Hu......

Some serious kit this is!

Never seen a Reporter with that leather case, a motor drive and both film cassettes.

It's a price indeed but he might get that for a set being that complete...!? All it takes is one filthy rich collector! 😎

As Frances said, it's a bit like a Daimler DE36 or one of those other monster old cars: magnificent, if not outstandingly practical. I think if I had 13.000€ spare I'd buy it.

Cheers,

R.

Looks like these shots come from the Westlicht site...

Had some negative experiences with a guy from Ede who post ads with exclusive equipment-but doesn't have them/or sell them (he posted ads with a black Nikkorex / Rolleiflex 4x4 black etc.etc. but doesn't ever response to questions...don't know if this is the same dude-but these pics make me suspicious...

Why would anyone advertise on Marktplaats with a set-up like that and not on the 'real' eBay? 'Marktplaats' is a Dutch site geared towards selling your old refrigerator or Praktika SLR, if we are talking photograpy. There is no auction system or buyer protection. Furthermore, it is not international. I guess the market for 13.000 Euro Leicas in the Netherlands is limited...

Furthermore, the pictures are of suspiciously high quality, yet the description is very limited, yet it contains a few glaring spelling/typing mistakes. It just doesn't add up. I would not take this seriously. It would make more sense to use eBay or to sell it via a well known Dutch collector. Very fishy.

Hmmm, looks like someone getting a kick out off trolling people, or someone who dreams about being a dealer in rare camera equipment. Maybe he gets off on the thought of us drooling on the stuff he puts up for sale, but doesn't have. Weird. Or sad. Or both.

The ad now says "Reserved". I wonder if the "seller" is backing out. Apparently he's only a 2-year member. Ditto on the Ede residency. I've seen several suspicious ads in the past from sellers from Ede that never responded to questions or emails. Also, there's no post code shown that would link to an address location.

Interesting thing is that the first picture is from the Westlicht listing, but the other pictures showing the back, the case and the cassettes are not from there. In fact, the picture showing the rear is of a different camera.
It could be that it is a legitimate ad for a Reporter, but one without motor, for which the seller "borrowed" the Westlicht photo, to make it look more interesting....?
