Dear Friends!,

Just got an e-mail from the editor of the defunct 28MM that the four photos I submitted to them last October are selected to be published in their photography book! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Didn't she (Rachel) put up a new photo mag/blog/project (much like 28mm) some months ago? I remember reading about it then but supposedly I forgot to bookmark the link..

Thank you so much guys! 28MM stopped their online magazine last October and the editor wants to have a book published to commemorate 28MM in print. So an invitation was posted on their website to ask for the best 4 photos for each applicant. I have no idea how many applied but in the end 61 was chosen and the book will have 244 photos.Once I know when the book is ready I will let you all know. :)

Thanks Felipe! Will let you know when it is ready. I have heard that Rachel is planning something to replace 28MM but so far there is nothing. Let us wait and see. By the way, 28MM is still online and they have some really excellent photos!

Congratulations Peter. I'm so glad you stuck with it after some idiotic negative criticism last year. I like to think that your friends at RFF forum including myself kept you going.

You know what Kurt? You are right! RFF and its wonderful members gave the support I need during the most depressing time last year. Thank you guys for showing me how to see and also the generous sharing of technical information. I learn so much just from you guys!
 
Peter, that's great news! While the value of your pictures does not depend on such acceptance, it's a wonderful feeling isn't it? :D

Thanks guys! You are absolutely right Doug! It does feel sort of warm and fuzzy! :p Hey Oscar! Maybe I should do more of the toilet shots with people using it in the background? :)
