Thanks, guys, for inquiring about me. My husband, I and the girls left New Orleans early Saturday morning. We are in Houma, Louisiana, now with Bill parents. Houma was not hit. All we had here is some strong winds.

I am able to use the local library's internet. I'll be coming back to the library later tonight. We can't go back to NO till Monday morning. There are reports that it ain't gonna be safe when we get there. Just pray for us and other less fortunate than us. We consider ourselves among the ones more fortunate.....

Thanks again, and don't believe everything you see on TV:)

I'll be posting photos later for sure.
 
We were getting very concerned about you. I'm really glad you're OK, cuz things look really nasty down there, at least according to the ...

If it's half as bad as the TV reports say, it's really bad. :( Yes, I know there's often some major distortion in the news channels.
 
The damage shown on TV is accurate, it's the speculations about peoples motives, etc. that I wouldn't trust.....Lots of hype IMHO

Thanks, Randy, RJ, and all. We'll be in line to N.O bright and early tomorrow around 4am. I'll try to take as many photos as I can and share with you.

I was wondering about you / your family... but didn't want to ask for fear of an answer I didn't want to hear. Very glad you are all okay. As usual the media don't seem to get it right (more editorial/opinion than facts) but the facts usually come directly from people like you.

Fingers, are crossed for your home being as good as can be expected
