As mentioned I bet that 90% of the people ranting about the M8 don't actually own. The ones who do will by now understand and appreciate the potential of the M8, see the flaws too, but see the potential as the foremost reason to use the M8.
What really peaded me off where the professional reviewers and that fact that leica tried to sweep the whole thing under the tablecloth .... but thats a different discussion altogether
Probably the same goes for the Bessa vs. ZI discussion 90% of the negatives by people who have never seen it, let alone touched it, just hearsay.
