The Minolta 7s has a roll of APX100 in it that is taking forever to shoot because it just doesn't seem to be that comfortable to me.?
Funny thing, after starting out film photography with my father's 7s, I decided I needed a better camera, and ended up buying a Nikon F70, FT3, FG20, F4s, Russian rangefinders, and eventually a Bessa.
Last week, I had a pretty important shoot and I used the Nikon SLR's and the Bessa for 12 out of 13 rolls... One roll I shot through the Minolta 7s, perhaps out of nostalgia, I don't know, but it had been a long long time since I used that camera. Turns out that roll definitely had the most shots that I'd consider good(something like 30 out of 36, which is an all-time high for me), and my three overall favorites from the whole shoot.
And that Rokkor 45/1.8 is just amazing, definitely the best lens I ever used. Better than the CV's, FSU glass, Nikkors, ... Better than the lenses on the Canonets and Yashica Electro's I used to have, too.
If you decide to sell yours in a while... Let me know, I think I might be interested in a backup
