I am at the airport, getting ready to travel all over New England. The chintzy lens cap on my Sonnar falls off and cracks. It will not go back on. No choice. Glory be. How nice it was to have no choice but to not care about always remembering to put the cap on. I'm free. To hell with lens caps except fpr storage. Free at last.

Wait until evrything except that one camera gets stolen. Free at last! Free at last! 😀
