I am Martin Parr

t’s wonderful that this remarkable photographer received a documentary about him just in time. Although I completely understand the negative reaction to the bold “Disrupter” graphic splashed across the screen, please don’t dismiss his work because of questionable advertising or overly brash promotion. He was a true British artist whose eye captured the spirit of working-class Brits at play.

Ignore the film if you like, but take a look at Martin’s work, and if you still feel it isn’t for you, that’s perfectly fine too.

It’s sad, but also fortunate, that he was around long enough to keep snapping away.

I'm too not so sure about his style, if I like it or not. Sometimes I do, sometimes I do not!
For sure he is an intersting photographer who developed his own vision and has something to tell us about photography.
Thanks for the link.
Did you watch it on a streaming service or in a movie theater? I never heard about it in the country where I live.
Really honest reaction.
