I can't believe I won!!!

Congrats! I have registered with them couple of month ego but I never recieved any confirmation email or mail, anyone knows what should I do? ooh what a great presents!!!

P.S. now you can try and test and compare cron asph to biogon 35mm :D
 
Thanks Magus and all. I am very excited and looking forward to trying the asph cron in comparison with the biogon. My guess is there will be no real difference. I suspect they will both make great images. I had been toying with selling my v4 summicron and think this might be the kicker. I shoul dhave it this week and will run a couple of tests before putting it into full service. I'll make a shot and post it with a couple of examples from the lenses.

I wish every one of you could win such a prize. You all deserve it or possibly first prize which was a new LHSA MP-3, winder and 50 asph summilux. Enter next year and enter often!

What a long week waiting for the hammertons set to arrive but it finally made it this morning. What a beautiful finish! Hmadling the new 35 summicron asph in chrome stunned me a little. I was very surprised as to the weight. This is one hefty little lens. I don't know if there is just more glass in there or a combination of a solid brass mount and more glass but it's really alot heavier than my old v4 summicron.

I'll make some shots of it this weekend and post them.

I'm looking forward to comparing the asph summicron to my much loved Biogon. Well I guess it's time to part with my 35 v4 summicron now.
 
I'm just glad that someone as deserving as X-ray ended up winning the camera! I'm sure he'll make good use of the camera+lens.
