Are you ever in a crowd photographing but all you hear is noise?

This is a free app that I'm using on my iPhone, turning it into a decibel meter.

Gosh, just the other day my wife and I were at a restaurant, couldn't hardly carry on a conversation, much less than take photos but could hear a young person talking 25 feet away!

Maybe I'll carry a megaphone the next time I'm in a crowd taking photographs!

You may find the next time you're attending a concert you need to have ear plugs with you.

Interesting app thanks. I notice that people in the area where I live tend to speak always louder. If someone has to ask a friend "shall we meet next week" they shout each single word, even being in a silent environment!

Agreed. Seems people do this because they want to be noticed by everyone else.
