Dad Photographer
Today, I put aside my rangefinder camera, and I took out my trusted Canon F1N SLR along with a Canon 85mm/1.2L lens and loaded the F1 with a roll of EFKE ASA 25 film. I decided to be fair to my SLR system and to give one SLR some use. It felt good to look through the viewfinder of the F1 and it was great to have a built-in spotmeter. It was like a reunion with an old relative after not seeing him for some time. Focusing was a snap, and it was reassuring to actually see the effect of what I would be getting at 1.2. Not to put RF down, it just felt good to "cheat" on my rangefinders today
