I couldn't resist so I bought it

The model without the meter was my fathers favorite camera for family and vacation stuff. She is a great camera.

nice deal....... I could not resist and pressed the $75 BIN button for a, clad by Alan Marlow, Konica S3. Did not need this one but it was a really fair price and this Konica is a nice RF camera. But where I really could not resist (and wait) was a $275 BIN button for a nice black Minolta 7SII with case and original lenshood. I was looking for this one for a while to complete my manual fixed RF collection, which I got quiet cheap in total. Well, the last black 7SII I missed, was clad by Minolta two years ago but had a little problem with the film winder. That one sold for $85 . I was sitting infront of the screen and missed that auction :bang:. This ruined my holiday and stayed in my head for to long. The medicine cost me another extra $190. I could resist the $650 BIN button for a nice Minolta CLE + 40 M-Rokkor, but was walking around the room for almost an hour here.

( Ups, this is Retina RF section, sorry. Enjoy your new camera. )

For what I paid for it if it needs service I'll still have little invested..

I believe certo6 is doing a good job on that kind of camera. But maybe there are other cla alternatives.

Crown Graphic 4 x 5

I own a Crown Graphic 4x5and all I need is a new Compur shutter #0. They go for around $200.

Good advice. Okay, I'm outta here to get fixin's for an early dinner. Then my wife and I are off to Roland's (ferider) for his July 4th fireworks bash. See, even when I get off the computer I can't get away from the rff! :D

The Retina arrived today and after a bit of minor cleaning checked it out. Shutter works and sounds good at all speeds. Meter is surprisingly accurate at various light levels as checked with my Sekonic L-358. It even had its original incident attachment safely strapped into its position in a very good condition case..

Rangefinder is dead on and bright..

I do believe its a keeper..
