I did it again...

Rob - this is the start of an unstoppable force [ farce ? ]
but factoring Oleg into the cost of any Soviet camera aquisition is very sensible !
My twin Oleg Fed- Leicas , Fed 2 and Kiev 4 / 4m are superb .

This particular Z3 comes very used and his Jupiter-8 is unpaired with camera (Camera made in 1954 and lens - in 1960). Thus price is low.

Moreover having the seller saying "I cannot guarantee" means it does not work, at least to me... :p

That Zorki 3 is very unique looking. It has the charm of the Barnacks and the viewfinder of the later models. Someday... maybe :)

Roberto,
Nice looking camera--I like the Z3m the best of all the FSU cameras I've owned so far. I bought a Z3m knowing it was not working(the seller was very honest about its condition) thinking that I would learn enough to fix it my self and maybe repaint it black. After I realized how little skill and time I really had, I sent it off to Oleg and got back an excellent machine. Fairly quick return to me here in the US, too.
$70 plus shipping plus the 45 or 50 to Oleg and I think the price is still pretty good.
Rob

I still find the Zorki 3 hard to get, even an example in non working or not good working is well priced. Especially the ones with the slow speeds on the front.

This Soviet Power seller does not have a good reputation.
He misrepresented a multiple camera sale to Vlad Kern , forum member and well known FSU collector and refused to make good on the grounds that he would not make any money if he did.
I did email him on his Z-3`s and he had a line of BS and promises that wasn`t hard to sort.
It was interesting that he had 3-5 Z-3`s at one time and was trying to unload them at $69 + $25 shipping. Thats a good price even if they needed a CLA but since his pictures didn`t necessarily match what he actually sends or does his descriptions (according to the bad feedback) I backed off and let him know I wasn`t going to take a chance.
Regardless, I do hope Roberto will get one in decent shape and can be CLA`d.
I think the Zorki 3 is the sleekest looking one of all and most Leica like and deserves to be worth the price a good one gets. Mine is mint and works as new. I sold off my Z3M but I kept the Z3 .

I'm prepared to use the Paypal Protection if that will be the case. :)
Anyway let me cross my fingers...
