Hello together.

I have been trying to take pictures of people in the street many times, but most of the time I did not have the guts.
My problem was that I started thinking to much about the picture.
After seeing the Meyerowitz video I tried to copy his style and especially the trick to stay in one place and watch the people move by really helped me.
Adrenaline was coming out of my ears.
After one hour I was really exhausted, but it was my most intense experience in photgraphy.
I am looking forward to those pics. I hope at least one of them is in focus:eek:

The best thing is that finally my Leica can do what she was built for. Till now I was just a Leica snob shooting landscape and stuff and always asked myself why do you need a Leica for that?

Just wanted to share.

Have Fun

Great video! Fantastic capsule tutorial.

Now I understand why I it doesn't work for me, and I won't be frustrated.
Years ago, I lasted exactly one morning as a Fuller Brush Man. (Frightened the housewives and they wouldn't open the door.)
Last time I went downtown with my camera, I found myself waiting for the people to get out of the way so I could shoot the street. Came back just after sunrise and had a ball...

Hey, I can't run a marathon ether and that don't bother me. More power to them what can.

Street shooting does demand a certain attitude.....That and low light are what the Leica M does best.....they happen to be favorite photographic genres.
