Untitled by Berang Berang, on FlickrSomebody at the shop made a goof... put my slide film in the c-41 machine. It was a test roll really, I was taking the Exa out to try out two lenses I hadn't used before: A Schneider Curtagon 2.8/35, and a Steinheil Cassarit 3.5/100. The lighting couldn't have been nicer, but unfortunately all of that wonderful subtlety was obliterated by the processing.

One thing's for sure though, both of these lenses are definitely keepers. The weight of that brass-barreled Schneider is especially good at combating the Exa's brutal mirror slap. On the other hand the Exa revealed it has trouble with the 1/150 shutter speed, that's what's causing the black band across the top of some of the images. Guess it's time for so new oil and grease.
