I found this forum by accident looking for information on a jammed OM4. I thought I was one of a few Olympus OM diehards left on the planet.

My collection of OM equipment includes:
71 OM Bodies
86 Zuiko Lens

The bodies include 7 M1 units, 3 OM3Ti's and 7 OM4Ti's plus many NIB Bodies (OM1, OM1N, OM2, OM2N, OM2SP, OM3TI, OM4Ti).

I'm glad the OM legend continues and that a forum exists to keep it going.

Suddenly my four of five bodies and fifteen lenses seems so insignificant. 😀

Welcome to RFF ... no doubt we'll be seeing you in the Zuikoholics thread. 🙂

Hi,

Welcome aboard. I'll be drummed out for saying this but you are not alone and there's other forums too but none as nice.

Regards, David

It's good to have you on the forum.

I have a theory about collecting Olympus OM systems. The theory is that two items of the system multiply in the dark (kind of like shirt hangers). Those items are the Winder 2 and the Zuiko 50/1.8. [One day there's two in the closet, the next day 3 each, and then it just goes bonkers.]

To test my theory: How many Zuiko 50/1.8 lenses do you have? How many Winder 2s do you have?

And, if you don't mind, what is your rarest lens?

I wonder how many 2-4 screens even exist. Id never seen a 2 series in person until I got a 2-4 off ebay; but that was the first one I had ever actually seen for sale or in private hands on the internet (and not for lack of trying).

Die hard? More like ate up with it. But not a bad affliction to have. There's been many a time I would sit back and think about how big a cabinet I would need for my ultimate collection.
