Wow, really nice stuff! The middle two are very nice. Especially the hay bales. The way the ground rises up and almost touches that cloud...

Real Men Shoot Film.
I really like the field with the hay bales.

The best camera is one that still works!
This is not the way I think of Scotland ... obviously I've been looking at too many of Stefan Joszef's gritty street shots.
Really beautiful ... particularly the third pic.

Thanks for the encouragement. I used the grid with spirit level in the X100 VF to try and obey the rule of thirds, where possible. [EDIT - and lots of working the exp. comp.]
That Fujinon 35mm is not just good for street work, that's for sure.

Some fine shots - for someone who doesn't do landscapes. Your really have great control of the X100, evident from your earlier posts. I like the middle two best also. I think that hay bale one would looks great in black and white too.

Then maybe I should take more landscapes? With autumn here, a more accessible sunrise and now I have a car again, I will see what I can do around Somerset. Thanks for all the support. I wasn't expecting much feedback, to be honest. This is a tough crowd

My favorite is this one :
I am not sure if getting down on the ground all the way would have made it even more gripping but as the sun is already peaking in at the top, this would have been very difficult I guess.
But anyway great shots overall. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I just use the rule of thirds and try to lead the eye. The iPhone and SnapSeed for the Mac are none too shabby either. Took this in Bath today. A touch of the old masters, I would suggest

The light was fantastic in the park today (NEX-3 16mm pancake)
