Whenever I mount my 35 Cron on my M6, there'll be some play, maybe 0.1mm. The photos are great, and I dont see any adverse effects. It also happens when I mount my 50 Lux, 35 Summaron. Tested on my M7, same ordeal.
Is this normal ? The locking pins are clean, free from grease and so on. I read that even new Leicas exhibit some play. Anyone can vouch for this ?

I tightened all visible screws on each lenses. Nothing has changed.

Try mounting the lens on the camera, and try twisting it a little clockwise/anticlockwise. Anyone with the same issue ?

Play in and out or around the axis as the lens rotates? If it's a rotational kind of play you might be able to clean the lens locking button well to get it to possibly engage better. This happened with my M4 after it accumulated some dirt or crud or whatever that collected on the underside of the button which prevented it from fully moving out and engaging the locking notch in the lens mount. The locking button might be loose enough that it could be wobbling also.
If it's an in and out sort of play, you'll have to have the camera flange adjusted or repaired.
Hope I got the gist of your problem and this helps.

If it's only 0.1mm, I really wouldn't worry about it.

Still rotates around 0.1mm, even after cleaning the slots. Been like this since day one.

I wouldn't sweat it if it's only in the rotational axis.

This is normal on all M-series cameras and will not affect image quality or the camera/lens working..

The backup M6 I bought 2 weeks ago also has a wee bit of rotational play.
That makes 3 of my Ms!

... none of my M2's have any play in the lens mount at all ... nore any in the rewind knobs or any of the levers or shutter-speed dials
The only free play I could find was half a thou of axial play on a summaron f-stop dial ... that will annoy me now until I get it fixed
