I've been using the D90 for a couple years now and have no complaints. It is a fine camera and you will enjoy using it..

The 28-105 is a good lens, but its not wide enough for me for general use on a DX camera, and the lens hood, if you have one, is horribly huge. I have never understood why Nikon deemed it needed to be so large.
I have been through most of the DX lenses and the one I like best is the 16-85. This is compact and very sharp, and with a focal length equivalent to 24- 127mm is great for most purposes. When you can afford to do it, I would recommend you consider trading your 28-105 for this one.
