It keeps not fully capturing the whole frame, you can see the side a bit less exposed. Does anyone know what that is and what could be the problem?
Is it fixable or?
Curtain tension is slack?
Well I am no expert, it´s annoying as I like the colors and the general feel of it.

It's at the trailing edge of the shutter travel, so I suspect it is a bounce of the second curtain, or possibly a shutter brake that's trying too hard. Does anybody know if the FED 5 has a shutter brake?

There is a shutter brake on the Fed 5, it is under the thin cover that is held by 2 screws at the bottom of the camera.
The brake is the upstanding wavy part of that flat C shaped spring that the 1s curtain cam lightly hits to brake it.
You will spot it as soon as you remove the cover.
Lightly bend that wavy part of the spring a little closer to the cam, don't over do it or force it as the spring is brittle and it can break.
