going for $36 on eb*y

joe,

the first ones are gorgeous but they don't seem to have any adjustment feature on them.
the second ones can be adjusted but they say leica on them, i could never use them on my canons!😉

the ones that i made for myself look like the second ones but made from strong webbing and i didn't bother with the protective fabric/leather on the o rings.
they work great.

I'm looking for another strap like the one that came with my Bessa L. It's thin, light, feels strong, and has a suede like material sewn on the inside so it wont slide off the shoulder. Its easy to wrap around a hand, being so thin. It's black, and doesn't scream "steal me".

those generic wrist straps that screw into the tripod socket are pretty nice on leicas and all those removable baseplate/back cameras.

I can't buy any decent type of strap down here; the only ones the shops have are wide nylon with "Nikon" plastered all over them. Until I can source some good leather, I'm using one I knotted up from chained paracord - custom length, nice and strong, plus it gives me several meters of cord if I need it in an emergency.

ladies and gentlemen... knock yourselves out! i've got some nice accecories and bags! if it wasn't so expensive, heck i would have put down already!

Brian, I can't believe you threw those straps away. Guess I'm alone here, but I proudly collect and use my tapestry/hippy straps. The designs are great, you can dispay them on an old tie rack, and short of neoprene, they're really comfortable carrying around any heavier camera. I immediately remove and add to my "one of these days sell pile" any of the manufacturer straps or thin black leather beauties. Not comfortable and won't stay on my shoulder. I have 18 so far and wouldn't part with mine for love or money. Matter of fact, anyone tired of theirs could always donate them to a certain Canuck who'd be glad to add them to my, I mean his collection, LOL.
