I have a confession!

I have a Yashica Mat-124 G, do I need a Rolleiflex? A Rolleiflex is more beautiful but I have no problems with the Yashica

That'd be up to you. The Yashicamat is a great camera in my opinion. Quality of images from both would be excellent.

Well Keith, congratulations, mate!
Your medium format thread has started my MF GAS, which led to a purchase of Rolleicord III a few months back. So this is like an endless circle, one man's thread torture another man's bank balance. :D
I also use a Barton1972 strap, they 'look the part' on a Rollei, or any TLR for that matter.
Enough already, show us the pic of the camera!

P.S. That prism adaptor is neat! Anyone can share their story? What is the TTL display like?
That could be another item in my to-buy-list, in addition to a hood. Oh my. :$

I think the reason most folks prefer the original hoods, Keith, is that they allow you to use filters. Some of the replacement stuff bayonets into the filter socket.

Keith what a great first posting of your "new" Rollei. I think TLR are the most misunderstood and under appreciated cameras after folders, view cameras, FSU rangefinders, SLR and compacts..
I have a Rollei. The lowly Automat with that terrible Tessar that is blazing sharp and contrasty. The "thrrump" of a Hasselblad,Pentax 67 or Mamiya 67 could concern to non users of ear plugs.. The silence of the Rollei unmatched.
Good for you. Enjoy.
