Ok even though I don't really enjoy digital photography at all, i have decided to take the plunge and have ordered myself a GH1 from B&H along with the top level fotodiox adapter for my M-lens (i have heard too many horror stories about cheap adapters).
Why buy one of these and not the GH2? well the GH1 new is only 400usd and the only reason I got one is so I can play around with the video function. I am a professional cameraman (mostly for local news) and it would be great to have a compact camera that can deliver good HD clips with that lovely depth of field and that I can fit in my bag with my m6. Even better someone clever out there has hacked the firmware to give stable 'broadcast level' HD images!!!!
So as much as i hate digital photography...hopefully in time i can show you some films!
