I just can't seem to like the 15mm.

Monz you sod, stop it, you'll cost me a fortune!🙂

Ah ... but that's the irony here. A used 15mm Heliar costs next to nothing so to speak ... no reason not to have one even if it only gets used occasionally!

I bought mine to use on my M8 which is actually the camera it never seems to get mounted on ... it invariably winds up on my R4A where I can use that camera's entire viewfinder as a pretty decent guide for the 15's field of view.

I sold mine a while ago, but this thread just made me get another one. This is my favorite shot using the old one I had:

I'm also rather eager to try it with the GF-1, smeared corners notwithstanding.

Keith,

I want one of these 15mm that "cost next to nothing". Where should I be looking?😕

I know what you meant, Keith.
I seem to favor the vintage Canon 19mm non-retro lens, but I also love the modern CV 25mm lens.

I just developed my first roll using my cv 15. I can tell that it will take some practice to really get it, but when I do it will be well worth it.
