Good Luck Gid....I was stressed over bottom loading too, but quickly learned that for me it is the easiest way to load film, really.

I did worry about the bottom loading, but after looking at it...it seems easy and simple. Which is a mighty relief.

I don't seek to compare cameras - its a pointless exercise for anyone but yourself. Its your own view that counts and fortunately not everyone is of the same opinion - otherwise there'd probably be a shortage. In the end its the lens that makes the biggest difference, not the body. However, I'm not saying that all bodies are equal. Shoot whatever makes you happy and gives you the motivation to go out and shoot. I use all of my cameras. There are no bad ones IMHO. I consider myself lucky to be open minded enough to have such a varied and wonderful choice.

Now, where did I put that advert for the Nikon S3 🙂

Not at all! I just like to hang out in context... It says Leica M Series here; if it really says Bronica or anything else, I apologise, and am ready to find another "home".

I am not the offensive type at all - just looking for a genuine Leica M forum - where I won't feel like a minority member in my (supposed) own forum...

we don't live in a vacuum, most here have several cameras and types and formats. it would be awkward to have to reference a post to another forum when it is a quick comment only.
these forums belong to all members and the general philosophy is inclusive rather than exclusive.
besides trying to live by hard & fast rules is just no fun!!

OMG photo village has probably the worst web site I have ever seen... Why isn't their content broken down?

I too find it difficutlt to find specific stuff at Photo Village's web site, though it's not so bad for just browsing along with nothing particular in mind. I use my web browser's Find feature to locate things there....

As to forum topic specialties, I'm usually not aware of what topic a thread belongs to unless I specifically check for it. I just see a chronological list of recent active threads. It seems to me the forum divisions are soft and understated here in RFF and are easily ignored.
