I just fixed my Kiev 4a :)

Finally I bought some screwdrivers to be able to open it. The problem was that the curtain didn't really hook up in the up-most position so when changing speeds the curtain moved along with the shutter speed selector. So after I have examined the construction I bent the two adjustable metal pieces that releases the curtain out from the hooks a little, and to my astonishment it now works!
After reading this I'm aware that the text is incomprehensible...but being an amateur without the right terminology 😱

Congratulations! I have had a lot of fun assembling & disassembling my Kievs. It is very satisfying when it all goes back together & (much to my suprise as well) works. Enjoy your Kiev!
