Well the first roll of film has just come back from the VI-L. Not an easy time of the year. I go to work before it geys light and come home in the dark. That leaves the weekend and the weather is not that kind! Anyway I managed to take it out for a quick walk about a fortnight ago wiyh the J3 on to take a few snapshots whilst walking the dog we were looking after. That used up 1/2 a roll of Sensia100 and the second half was used to check out the Canon 50/1.8 that I got from Einars. The first 4 shots are taken from the walk and the last was a quick shot of the house using the 1.8.

It will take a little while to get used to the camera and what it can do and a bit longer to get used to the new (to me) scanner but I can feel another body coming on! (One for slide and the other for print). I think very soon in the new year the Bessa R and the 1.5 Nokton are going to fund it!

And finally, thank you Andrew, You have made me very happy!

Hi Kim, yes the VI-L is among the coolest CANON cameras. I have to admit, as a "P" owner... not that I'm looking for a VI-L to, they are so similar. And a small Bessa-R body is an excellent addition for a Canon RF user. Nice pictures. Where is it where you live?
Cheers & Merry X-mas, Frank

Joe, Happy Solstice Season! (my new non denominational all inclusive holiday concept)

I personally believe that you have single handedly caused the values of Canon equipment to escalate! LOL! Everyone who owns a piece of Canon eq't should send you a personal note of gratitude. For me this has taken all interest off other equipment and caused it to drop in price! For this I am truly grateful ... joke/humour

BTW Merry Christmas / New Year too ;-)
