Depth of focus near zero and focus on the 'wrong eye' -- very interesting effect.
Unless you have a patent on this technique I will try that myself...![]()
Help yourself, I don't do the bokeh thing much anyway
It's a Nikon 105 f2.5 at f2.5 on xp2 if that's of interest

A gentleman would have offered to hold it for her.
Nice shot!
Thanks, I had to run to get there in time as it was, I saw the woman ask if she could photograph him from about 50 yards away.
I thought I’d missed it only got that one shot off as she was standing up, dead lucky really

Very 'cool stuff', Stewart.
My main 'criteria' for any pictures is 'Visual Perception' and you certainly have your fair share of that.
Best Regards

Thanks, you’re too kind Peter, they’re mostly snapshots and take themselves generally
I often find stuff that I had no idea were there at the time, very rewarding finding some little thing the would have been lost in the vastness of time if it hadn’t been caught on my neg, a joy like finding a fly in amber … well not for the fly I suppose

Dunno about that .I guess it would be kind of nice to think my existence would be appreciated in a couple of million years if not my pictures. LOL

So much amazing stuff in this thread, it's convinced me to buy myself an enlarger and set up a makeshift darkroom in the laundry. Picked up the enlarger today and I've been playing with it all afternoon - mainly just consisting of enlarging various images onto my easel whilst I wait impatiently for some darkroom supplies!
Hopefully I'll have some of my own prints to share in this wonderful thread in the coming weeks.
