I just touched an M9 - CV lenses?

What is the deal on using non Leica lenses on the M9? Need to be 6-bit coded? What if they are not?
Something tells me I am starting a savings account.

E. Puts commented on this. He stated that he tried the Zeiss lenses and they functioned well on the new M9 when selecting a comparable Leica lens.
