The talent here is amazing. But this is coming from a no talent hack, so take it for what it's worth.

the talent here IS amazing. We have brilliant talent in all aspects of the craft. Like no other community I've experienced. And the social nature of the place is unique. That is why I am here.

Welcome.

Wait a sec...

Your join date is Feb 2005 and you're only now posting a hello!?!?!

Well, hi. Wow, though.

To tell you the turth, I became a forum member last year and occasionally read the posts but I began as an active forum member just this year.

People are different...

hAve to say I agree here, amazing community here, between the tech talk, the faondler talk, the shooter talk and the general **** around chat while having a coffe talk this forum has everything.
Kudos to the admins and the moderators for keeping it runnging and keeping it an excellent forum

I lurked for a while before beginning to post. It is a great community, but many here know so much that it can be intimidating. This is a great place though. Whatever the legacy of p*net may become, I can at least be thankful that I heard about RFF there.

my introduction

my introduction

I may as well introduce myself as well. Having lurked here for sometime, I have to agree this is a most "welcoming" place. I now check in almost daily. My recent purchase of an MP .72 with a 50 Summilux and 28 Elmarit spurred my actually registering with the forum. Although I also own a Mamiya 7 with a 43 and a 150, I hadn't been shooting film for nearly 4 years having succumbed to the digital instant gratification trap. I'll still shoot digital, but I plan to not turn my back on film again.
Be seeing you all around and oh, by the way, thank you all. (You know who you are).😉

Mike
