In case you were wondering:
If you take old Polymax T and old Ilford rapid fixer and mix them in a sink with a stopper in it:
1. The mixture will go black (kind of cool)
2. It will smell like ammonia (moderately alarming)
Also note that bathroom vents don't seem to work when your roof is covered with 30 cm of snow.
It would appear that the short-term effects are negligible (I'm not dead yet) but presumably several substances known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm* were released so I don't recommend you try this at home.
(* I'm not actually sure... but still. don't do it)
