just got home and my lance round strap was in the mailbox.
i have been eager for it's arrival and i am not disappointed.
i thought a round strap was the way to go and goodness gracious great balls of fire...it is!
it might not be for those who keep the strap on one shoulder (not sure) but i don't carry that way.
for bandolero style it is fantastic!!
the camera just glides up the body as you gently pull and in an instant it is at your eye...like the slider straps only with very soft polyester and no metal clips etc.
i cannot wait to give it a real workout on the weekend.
my only concern is how well it will wear and how long it will last...but i'm betting it will be for a very long time.
i am about to order 2 more but a touch longer...

Looks like a nice strap as I also carry across my chest and the strap I was using today was catching a bit. But for the materials and simplicity I'd try to make my own as the price seems a bit much.

I got mine a few days ago (the 60cm one). I think it's very well done, and definitely works bandolier-style. It's cool that he offers custom lengths too.

"I may be in love".... perhaps the touch of fine japanese silk of the A&A straps wrapped around your body will put you over the edge ......

You can do it yourself for much cheaper if you buy some silk rope in bulk. That is if you don't mind that bulk Japanese silk rope is available from rather peculiar places.

From your local Kinbaku dealer
But then buying asa nawa in bulk would really be the way to go .....would make for comfortable strap too.
Joe ,
Yes you right they are a bit pricey .... They can be be made to a custom lentghs . I have two and they last forever ,and are very comfortable in hot and humid conditions ...when most straps become unbearable .
Would be interested hearing your thoughts on this particular strap after using during a few hot days of summer .
Thanks

actually, how they perform in the cold is more important here...it's cold much longer than it is warm here...

I really like the A&A 103n straps primarily for their simple design, simple materials and 48in length (perfect for the only way I carry my cameras--"bandolero"). So I ordered one of these, they look like a great (and cheaper) alternative to the A&A. Thanks for the heads up.

Joe: I just feel good when anyone is in love regardless of the details.
So if it is a new camera strap that does it for you, I am happy. You seem like a nice guy and deserve the best. Long may it last.

Joe, it looks like a very nice camera strap. What is the length that you purchased and what length are you now going to order?
A picture of you and the camera with new strap would be nice!
Congratulations! . . . . . may you have a long and loving relationship.

just placed an order for 2 more straps...66 inches long, all black.
i notice that they added a red strap so now have 3 colours available...the red was tempting but not great for walking about unnoticed...i still may get one eventually for more festive ocasions...
