Joe, would you please show us what new clip ends you are referring to. I also would like to be able to take on/off the strap easily. How secure is it?
Thanks
Thanks

I ordered and received two of the adjustable straps. They are wonderful. Incredibly comfortable and easy to use/adjust.
Had them on a M7 and Mamiya 7ii during a recent trip to Japn (average temp 34C/95F) and they did fine in the heat. Will be ordering more soon.

Joe, thanks for making me aware of these straps. Just received mine. I gotta say I was surprised at how substantial the strap is. The quick release is brilliant!

I bought a piece of 12 strand rope for $1.50 and was planing on making my own Lance Strap. It just wouldn't work out right for me, so I just ordered from Lance. A 48" olive green one for my X-Pro1.

The A&A flat straps on my cameras do not slide well when I wear them across my chest, these look like a great idea. After splicing what seemed like miles of running rigging for my sailboat and then being drafted into service for all of our cruising friends, making a couple of these straps shouldn't be too difficult. Now to find a source for soft poly double braid in central TX!

Not a huge fan of the look of these straps, but decided to give them a try since they offer a thin string loop connector option, which I need for my X-Pro1. [BTW, if anyone was wondering if the X-Pro1 has improved upon the X100's wimpy strap lugs that wear extremely quickly w/standard metal O-ring connectors, the answer from me is a resounding no.]
I got the adjustable version & so far, so good, at least w/a lightweight body like the X-Pro1.

I use these straps with the metal O ring connectors on my Xpro1 without issue.

YM obviously V. I had noticeable wear on my X-Pro1's lugs, comparable to that on 40+ year-old Leica M & LTM bodies, after a few months of very modest use. Not good.

I ordered one of the Lance straps (one with QR string ends) as well as one of the Street Straps a few months ago. I use the Lance strap on my CL and the Street Strap on the X2.
Both work well. The Street Strap is softer and more pliable, a bit slimmer—fits the light X2 better. For bandolier style use, I'd like the Lance to be just a little longer.
Now I need to decide on what I want for the M9 and M4-2.

Do you mean the metal is wearing away
The strap I used before the lance had metal connectors as well. I will have a closer look at mine tonight.
You wouldn't happen to have a picture of yours would you?

Yes, the metal in the lugs was already noticeably worn away by the O-rings.
I don't have an X100, but have seen & read about premature wear in their lugs. Disappointing, to say the least, to find that they didn't fix this problem in the X-Pro1. My X-Pro1 isn't a shelf queen, but it's not like I've used it in rough conditions or anything.
Sorry, don't have a photo of mine. FWIW, it's mainly in 1 lug right now, but I didn't want to take a chance at exacerbating the problem (& didn't want to bother w/a bulky 1/2-case w/lugs) & wanted to see what the fuss was w/these round fabric straps the crazy kids on the RFF
)) keep talking about. Like I wrote, I've only seen comparable wear on my vintage cameras (nothing more modern than the early 1960s).
