i miss brian sweeney

Wow - didn't know, he left the forum!
Surely it is a big loss for the forum, and I know, he might change his mind at one point, while I do understand, that sometimes, one has to make such decisions, as there is a life beside the internet.

I am very happy, Brian shared some invaluable information form his wealth of experience with me, without, I would have never started, to open up lenses and adjusted many LTM lenses for use on calibrated Leica M bodies.

Always, when I got stuck with something, Brian had just the right hint at hand, that moved me on, helping immensely!.

I hope, his leaving has no impact here on RFF on the old threads and especially his forum!
I hope, temporarily, moderation is managed by other mods, leaving the Brian Sweeney place at RFF alive and running, ready, to welcome Brian again, should he decide, to come home again ;-)

not that i know of. he seemed miffed at the whacky upgrade issues. michael markey might be a better source on keith. i miss keith's photos ...

i have been here from the beginning and can't remember the people who have come and gone...for various reasons...always a little sad though.
 
Oh Man! No Brian! I'm gonna miss him a lot!
We all get more dumb without his knowledge!
This 2011 year has been bad, bad, bad... hope it ends quickly!
 
This is disappointing. Brian inspired me try some interesting lens remounts and push the limits of my own capabilities.
 
I do hope he gets the calm and rest he seeks.

Sometimes we just need to step away and get some fresh air.

Also, there are times that the forums (fora?) really gets the best of you.
 
I will meet with Brian in the summer, so I hope that he will be rested from work, and that we can eat pizza and laugh together.
 
Brian Sweeney is super cool and I wish he comes back to RFF.com.........I have learned a lot from him and I appreciate his posts............I hope he comes back.......

I wish I could be with you guys, I love pizza and I love to laugh, and I imagine that Brian, you (Raid) and I would have a good time talking about cameras and having a good time........sounds like good times......

Ditto, :angel:Raid Just pass along our good wishes. With all the help and advice he passed out so freely, I know that no one here wants to presser, him not one bit. :angel:
