i miss brian sweeney

I really miss seeing Brian's posts and photos. I'd love to have the benefit of hearing more minutia about Sonnar lenses. I'm discovering what I can on my own. Very interesting journey, but no one to talk about it with... *sigh*

No idea who this guy is. However, if he used to be a regular guy here, I bet you my left testicle that he still lurks around here - either as a non-signed-in guest or under a different alias.

Why did he leave? Was he kicked out? Had a run in with the big boys here? Or did he just get bored? Hopefully, I'll get an answer from him soon via the PM system :)

He is a very nice guy. Very intelligent, honest to deal with, and a real authority on older lenses, particular Zeiss Sonnars and Russian Jupiter lenses.

Brian was a real asset here and a really nice guy to deal with. I was lucky enough to have purchased a number of his modified and back hacked lenses and they are the best! Raid please give him my best.

Brian visits sevetal other websites.

I will convey to him what you have said

Raid, I haven't seen Brian on any of the sites in a few months now, and my email address for him no longer functions. Hope everything is okay and he's doing well.

He posted on P-net just a short while ago, can't remember which forum.
Oh yeah, the Leica and rangefinder forum, on 2/15
