Sorry if this sould be in classifieds.

Im looking to buy a large chunk of film.
Black and White. 400 iso
HP5, Neopan or TRI-X prefferred.

I will accept cold-store Post-dated film.
I would prefer to buy 100ft rolls.

eBay has no deals!

If you only lived in the UK - I would have cut you off some from my 1000ft roll of HP5+ :)

Have you checked out Freestyle Photographic? If I lived in the US I'd be buying from them all the time.

Holy smokes, are you going to make a movie? :D

:) The film is ex-movie stock, dated 2002 (but still ok).

Decanting it onto smaller 100ft rolls before finally rolling canisters is a great way to listen to the radio.

*cough* wow... I just saw (and let pass) six 400ft tins of HP5 on eBay. I fretted over it all weekend long and when they were sold kicked myself once or twice pretty hard in the leg.

If you are feeling generous with that fiow.. let me know, even if you are not feeling generous I can actually pay you some of this wirthless american money...

I am a fan of freestyle as well. They have other offerings of B&W that might be worth a try. The bought up a large supply of Agfa film and are marketing it as Arista II, a 100-ft roll is only $28. Otherwise I think HP5+ is $39.

Although lately the bulk rolls on eBay seem to be going a bit high with patience I've found some very good deals there, like 100' rolls of HP-5, Tri-x and others for $20 USD or so, sometimes even less. Or if you buy enough go to the Megaperls website and order Neopan 400 bulk rolls from Dirk. Wonderful film, in many ways better than the ol' classics (HP5 and Tri-X) as it can be more flexible depending on developer and exposure (by that I mean it seems you can get really smooth grain or real strong obvious grain....)----it's more of a Jekyl and Hyde film than the others IMO....
