Hi to all.

I'm looking for a decent J-3 mount or a trash J3 for Kiev. I have a good optic, but the thief that sold me this lens did not tell me it has no locking ear...

We can go for an exchange if you like, I have lot of Kiev spares, front plates, knobs, shutter parts, etc...

Finally, I made a ear myself. Took a steel part from a junk shutter, bended it, grinded it, threaded it in M1,4mm. I made a cone bore in the inside, and put a screw. The lens locks perfectly on the camera without play. 🙂

(I know I need to wash my hands...)😀

That looks like it will work.

If not, post back. I might have a spare Contax Sonnar mount. It will hold the J-3 optics module if you grind down the outer rim of the mount. I use one on my Contax II with a 1955 KMZ J-3 module left over from a Sonnar Conversion.
