Over the years , I was into Minolta SRT/XD7 SLRs which became a bit uncomfortable with the new bulky AF models .

I preferred a 45mm / 50mm / maximum 135mm lens
.
Frankly , the now standard 35/28-80 suits me fine , although I loved the Rokkor 45mm f2 prime .

I now realise that would be content with a probably two fixed lens cameras with around 35-80 and 45/50 mm .

With this in mind , I was looking at the Panasonic LX 100 with it's faster 24-70 lens , but it's a touch small for me .

However in mid 2016 , i stumbled upon a new bargain X-Pro1 and added a 27mm which was perfect for street photos in Malaysia .

A year later I found a clearance X-M1 with the idea of using the 16-50 on the X-Pro , but it did not work for me . I was intending to be satisfied with a zoom lens compact , but missed the SLR style camera . The 16-50 is more than adequate for my modest aspirations .

Recently I found an ex-dem X-T1 18-55 which had been I had been watching for a for a year [ so much for being satisfied with the X-M1 ! ] until it hit clearance.

I now have my pair of

fixed lens rather large 'compact' with OVF , or in old money a see through finder an SLR styled camera wth an 18-55 'kit' lens which puts my Sony / Pentax versions to shame.
an excellent shoulder bag compact with similar IQ and menu [ which is great for my memory glitches .

[ the Fuji are not perfect - I still have a Pentax KS-! 35mm for kiddie chasing as the Fuji prefer their prey to stand still ! ]

Frankly , none of this would have been Ok if my crazy brain/hands/eyes did not recognise them as 'real' tangible ', so it's a BIG DEAL for me !

I use an NEX 5 with 20/2.8 as a carry everywhere as well as a Ricoh GXR with the 24-70 zoom. These work well for my purposes, so I am with you. Your set up is perfect for 80% of shooting situations.
