I saw this photo....
I've been MIA for several weeks on these threads. I've been busy at work, and the time I've spent looking at pictures has been devoted to the work of RFF members. And so it was a link from RFF'er Sirius that led me to the wonderful work of a photographer and blogger in NYC named Raul Guiterrez, a.k.a. "the mexican." (BTW, I googled him on RFF and did not find any discussion, but if I'm the last person on the face of the planet to discover his work, I apologize). He has done a lot of traveling in Asia, and has come back with a wonderful array of pictures which clearly show his ability to interact w/ his subjects (very little stealth street shooting here). He's up on flickr as "the mexican" and also has an entertaining photoblog. Among his photo projects, the one that impressed me most was from Xinjiang.
