I see you have a real camera?

I like it when friends/family try to get you to show them the back of your camera. They want to see the last shot. The momentary confusion that quickly follows their view is priceless.

My M8 is mistaken for a Yashica all the time, for some reason. Probably the coffee shop or Clark Park, loaded with hipsters who think it's so.

I've actually wanted to transfer the black square old Yashica logo (looks like an atom) from a broken Electro 35GSN to my M8 just for S&G's.

As for "real cameras", I have a very real 9lb Speed graphic with proper flash synchronizer & 2 grafmatic backs, which people love to see out on the street. I also have a real M4 which is my end-all, beat-all real backup for the M8.

I'd love a real Nikon S2 and a Nikon F2AS. Both black paint, please :D

I'm still waiting to here "Oh, you have a real camera"...
I have had some notice I had a Leica, but not a lot.
Don't care, really, It's a tool to me, that serves a purpose for me.

don't worry about it!......I suspect that as usual - there is a bit of 'fantasising' going on here!;)

Shooting a festival this past weekend with a IIIf on my neck earned this comment
from the young Sheriff's Deputy running security, "Wow, that's really old, isn't it?"

I agreed, but resisted the temptation to say, "Older than you sonny."

(And probably works harder, too.)
