Traveling in asia i realize i had set some rolls of color ektar 100 speed film to 150 asa.

Mostly daytime shots.

Did i massively screw up?!?

Any helpful words?

Thanks!

I think you'll be fine. In my experience, Ektar behaves a little like slide film in that it doesn't much like to be overexposed. I've seen some examples of it being pushed a couple of stops and it looks good. If you're developing it yourself, you could try giving it an extra 20 seconds in the developer to compensate, but it probably isn't necessary.

Relax and enjoy your travels 🙂

Thanks!

I wont be developing myself actually.

But in your opinion they should look normal-ish? Not badly affected?

Once again, thanks.

So if i understand correctly my 'mistake' may possibly have been a good thing, since setting to 150 was effectively underexposing?

Ektrar does not like much overexposure. There is a nice test here about overexposing and underexposing it.

Actually, it's a pretty poor test when underexposed shots have totally blown highlights.

I don't know where this "Ektar can't be overexposed" mantra comes from?! It can easily take +4 or 5 stops. As any other current C-41 film.

About 1/2 stop underexposure, don't worry too much. You'd probably only notice your error in side-by-side comparison.
