not right away though...the budget is lacking plus i'm putting aside $$ for a trip back home this fall.
but the more i read about the xpro2 the more i think it would be cool to have one...paired with my 2 xe2 bodies and 3 lenses i'd never have to change lenses. i like the xpro1 that i had...except for the lack of adjustable diopter.

The best camera is one that still works!
I am so out of the loop with Fuji stuff ... what's the xpro2 got over it's siblings and competitors Joe?

I'm going to wait for the X-E3. Should be same sensor, same processor or even newer and less weight. I find that I am using the EVF full time now so why bother with it on the next camera?

+1, as much as i want an xpro2 i like the size of the XE series more, it feels like it has the same thickness as film M whereas the xpro2 feels like digital M.
figured i'll go XE3 and keep saving for the fuji MF.
only thing i really want from the new sensor anyway is 24MP and maybe Acros

I fancied the xpro2 when it came out. Then I realised I couldn't open the files with my old LR4. I couldn't upgrade to a newer version without buying a new PC so for now I'll have to stick with my Xpro1.

I'd like a XP2 specc'd X-E3 also, but the rumours I've been reading mention Fuji quite possibly may now scrap the XE line entirely, idea being that there's too much overlap with the better selling X-T line.
The X-P2 is attractive but it's expensive and bulky for an APS-C, and with so much of the size and cost going towards features I won't use anyway it's a bit of a turn off.

I was at the shop yesterday to see if the hand grip improved the feel. It did, but not enough. And I don't like how the thumb rest feels.
What I like:
Fast focusing
Joystick focus point selector
24mp
I'll be waiting for the X-T2 and new vertical grip.

I was considering an X-Pro2 instead of a Leica RF, and we saw how that turned out. Oddly enough after handling one at the last Chicago GTG I'm still interested in an XP2, but this time as a replacement for my X100s.
I'm completely satisfied with the X-Pro2... a first for me with Fuji (though I've used them anyway). It works as a modern mirrorless camera should, especially with the 35mm f/2. Fast, great IQ, feels right in my hands, etc. I couldn't be happier. I use a X100T and a X-E2 as well... they aren't as mature in my opinion.

more pros than cons i think...but like i said, no $$ at the moment so i'm thinking christmas present to myself...
i would like xe3 spec'd out like a pro2 but i'm more than ok with the pro2 body style.

There may never be a X-E3 for all we know.

A third body adds a lot more weight, sounds like you will need a new case.....

the x-e2 is still a pretty popular camera even though it's old. i don't see why they'd discontinue the x-e line. the size is great, all they have to do is upgrade it and wait for an opening.

i'd be very disappointed if fuji were to discontinue the xe series...be nicer if they beefed them up a bit instead.

Finally at home...
That's something I have been thinking about for quite a while. I do have an X-E2 and an X-T1 and getting an X-Pro2 would mean to sell those two cams, because I just dont want to spend another €1700!
On the one hand I don't know if that would be a smart move, on the other hand, having just the X-Pro2 would be another step to thinning out too much gear. And it does have some very nice features (although it lacks the excellent EVF of the X-T1).
But the "set" of a Nikon Df, an M8 and an X-Pro2 would be veeeery nice.

There has been no recent rumor talk at all.

I have the XP2 and I definitely wouldn't call it "bulky". Its about the same size and weight as Panasonic's GX8, another camera with a built-in viewfinder, but with only a m4/3 sensor. I think Fuji has done a fantastic job incorporating an APS-C sensor, an optical viewfinder, AND an electronic viewfinder all in a body that's even a bit thinner than the Panasonic.
