I wanted to brag about my LTM cammies, especially because I got two great lenses; a J-8 from Brian and and a Canon 50/1.8 Serenar from eBay, but nobody paid any attention. That's OK. Here they are again. The J-8 has migrated to the FED 2, but otherwise ... Hey, this is great stuff.

Classy Fed! And the Zorki 6 looks very nice too. I haven't used a Canon but it certainly looks serious... nice collection!

Hey, no dissing implied, musta missed your original post. Can't speak to the FSU cameras, but nice looking Canon 7 with 50/1.8 Serenar. I have a couple of Canon 7s cameras, and a few 50/1.8 Serenars. Love the 50/1.8 lens in both the Canon and Serenar versions, and really like the switchable framelines on the Canon 7.

Actually, the 3some headline had a creepy sorta buzzkill affect. To paraphrase Frank S, "EWWW, the different cameras are touching each other!"

backalley, not to put too fine a point on it, but I think Frank S made the "touching" comment about your avatar.

Good looking setup!

The 3some thread was -unique- in some of the comments.

I did not let any of my cameras in it touch each other. Thought the Hays office would come after me.

Let's see some results from those lenses!

Beautiful Canon 7!

I did try to view your photo the first time, but, I'm still on dial-up and it was taking forever to load. Must be a large file.

Looks good in the thumbnail though.

That's a great setu... ooooh! Butterfly! pretty!...

A Serenar 50/1.8 and a Summaron 35/3.5 were the two lenses I used the most for over 17 years with an M3. Both screw mount, the second with a FOOKH finder. There was a bit of pitting (or rust?) on the chrome of the Serenar, but optically it was as good as my mid 1970s Canon FD lenses. From the longevity stand-point, it was better: coating pretty much impervious to ringworm, eczema...
